The Chemise Linen Kasbâ by L'atelier. A dress shirt with a Moroccan accent, cut from pure French linen, le lin, the fresh, breathable linen weave that stays cool from the first prayer to the last light. It sits lightly on the skin and lets the air move through.
Where another shirt would button, this one closes on a run of beads knotted by hand, the ʿaqad of the medina, set along a sfifa braid that climbs the stand collar and finishes each cuff. Every closure is worked in our atelier in Marrakech, one knot at a time.
Worn alone with the sleeves turned back, or under a djellaba with the collar showing at the neck, it carries the ease of the kasbah and the clean line of a dress shirt.
